1888 - René Lalique, the founder, opened his first shop in Paris, marking the beginning of the Lalique brand.
1907 - René Lalique began creating jewelry and objects d'art, which became highly sought after by European aristocracy.
1920s - Lalique became famous for his Art Deco designs, which were showcased at the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes in Paris.
1935 - René Lalique passed away, and his son, Marc Lalique, took over the company.
1945 - Marc Lalique reopened the Lalique factory, which had been closed during World War II.
1950s - Lalique began creating crystal glassware, which became a hallmark of the brand.
2008 - The Lalique Group was established, with the acquisition of Lalique SA by the Swiss group, Hoffmann.
2011 - Lalique Group acquired a majority stake in the Swiss watch manufacturer, Hautlence.
2013 - Lalique Group acquired a majority stake in the Swiss jewelry manufacturer, Pendulum.
