1960 - Ponsse Oyj was founded by Einari Vidgrén in Finland.
1970 - Ponsse Oyj introduced its first forest machine, the Ponsse Elk.
1980 - Ponsse Oyj started exporting its forest machines to Sweden and Norway.
1990 - Ponsse Oyj introduced its first harvester, the Ponsse H73.
1992 - Ponsse Oyj went public with an initial public offering (IPO).
1995 - Ponsse Oyj established its first subsidiary in the United States.
2000 - Ponsse Oyj introduced its first cut-to-length harvester, the Ponsse Ergo.
2005 - Ponsse Oyj acquired the Swedish company, Öamac.
2010 - Ponsse Oyj introduced its first modular-based harvester, the Ponsse Scorpion.
2015 - Ponsse Oyj celebrated its 55th anniversary and opened a new factory in Vieremä, Finland.
2020 - Ponsse Oyj introduced its first autonomous forest machine, the Ponsse Foxia.
