1954 - Industrie De Nora S.p.A. was founded by Oronzio De Nora in Milan, Italy
1960 - The company started producing electrodes for the chlor-alkali industry
1965 - De Nora developed the first dimensionally stable anode (DSA) for the chlor-alkali industry
1970 - The company expanded its product line to include cathodic protection anodes
1980 - De Nora started producing electrodes for the electrochemical water treatment industry
1990 - The company expanded globally, opening subsidiaries in the United States, Japan, and Brazil
2000 - De Nora developed the first titanium-based DSA for the chlor-alkali industry
2010 - The company acquired the UK-based company, Electrocell
2015 - De Nora launched its new brand identity and logo
