1916 - Founding of Svenska Kullagerfabriken, the company that would eventually become AB Industrivärden.
1933 - SKF acquires its first subsidiary, a bearing factory in France.
1946 - SKF begins to expand globally, establishing companies in the UK, Germany, and Italy.
1963 - SKF acquires the Swedish company, Gamförlaget.
1976 - Industrivärden is formed as a holding company for SKF and other industrial companies.
1980 - Industrivärden begins to expand its portfolio, acquiring shares in Sandvik and SSAB.
1990 - Industrivärden acquires a majority stake in the Swedish company, Sandvik.
2001 - Industrivärden acquires a majority stake in the Swedish company, SSAB.
2008 - Industrivärden acquires a majority stake in the Swedish company, Sandvik.
2010 - Industrivärden begins to focus on long-term industrial investments, divesting non-core assets.
2019 - Industrivärden celebrates its 40th anniversary as a listed company.
