1962 - The company started to focus on the development of patient handling equipment.

2005 - The company acquired the UK-based company, Huntleigh Healthcare.
2010 - Arjo AB (publ) acquired the Swedish company, Acare AB, a manufacturer of medical equipment.
2015 - The company launched its new brand identity and introduced a new product portfolio.
2017 - Arjo AB (publ) acquired the US-based company, Prism Medical Products.
