1983 - Tobii was founded in Stockholm, Sweden by John Elvesjö, Måns Brunner and Henrik Eskilsson.
2005 - Tobii Dynavox was formed through the merger of Tobii and DynaVox Systems.
2006 - Tobii Dynavox acquired the communication aids division of Siemens AG.
2011 - Tobii Dynavox launched the Tobii C12, a portable communication device for individuals with disabilities.
2014 - Tobii Dynavox acquired the US-based company, Blink Twice.
2016 - Tobii Dynavox launched the Indi, a dedicated AAC device for individuals with disabilities.
2019 - Tobii Dynavox acquired the US-based company, Gateway to Language and Learning.
2020 - Tobii Dynavox launched the Dynavox Compass, a software platform for AAC devices.
