The company's Q4 earnings beat estimates, with revenue growth modestly positive, despite organic sales weakness and tightened margins. A $1.1 billion operating cash flow in 2025 and $300 million share repurchases in Q4 underscore the company's financial strength. Segment Performance

The Carlisle Construction Materials (CCM) segment reported fourth-quarter revenue of $827 million, a 0.8% decline year over year. Adjusted EBITDA for CCM was $222 million, a 10% decline from the prior year, due to continued investments in innovation and strategic initiatives. On the other hand, the Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) segment reported fourth-quarter revenues of $301 million, up 4% year over year, supported by revenues from recent acquisitions.

Outlook and Guidance

Carlisle expects low single-digit revenue growth and 50 basis points of adjusted EBITDA margin expansion in 2026. The company's reroofing business is expected to drive growth, with mid-single-digit growth forecasted in reroofing demand. The harsh weather in the first quarter is expected to impact revenue, but a strong construction season is expected to follow, leading to flat revenue in the second quarter and a strong second half of the year.

Valuation and Return Metrics

With a P/E Ratio of 22.92 and an EV/EBITDA of 15.73, Carlisle's valuation appears reasonable considering its growth prospects. The company's return on invested capital (ROIC) of 18.01% and return on equity (ROE) of 36.69% are impressive, indicating a strong ability to generate returns for shareholders. Additionally, the dividend yield of 1.03% and free cash flow yield of 5.55% provide a decent return for income-focused investors.

Key Drivers and Risks

The company's distribution disruption progress is expected to benefit Carlisle in 2026. However, labor shortages and new construction market softness are potential risks. The expected rebound in the new construction market could put upward pressure on pricing in the second half of 2026. Analysts estimate revenue growth at 4.2% for the next year, which is slightly higher than the company's guidance.
