1999 - D-Wave Systems was founded by Geordie Rose, a Canadian entrepreneur.
2000 - D-Wave Systems raised $1 million in seed funding from Bezos Expeditions, the venture capital firm of Jeff Bezos.
2003 - D-Wave Systems demonstrated its first prototype of a quantum computer.
2007 - D-Wave Systems announced the development of its first commercial quantum computer, the D-Wave One.
2011 - D-Wave Systems launched the D-Wave One, the world's first commercial quantum computer.
2013 - D-Wave Systems announced a partnership with NASA and Google to develop the Quantum Artificial Intelligence Lab (QuAIL).
2015 - D-Wave Systems launched the D-Wave 2X, a second-generation quantum computer.
2017 - D-Wave Systems launched the D-Wave 2000Q, a third-generation quantum computer.
2020 - D-Wave Systems rebranded as D-Wave Quantum Inc. and launched the Advantage quantum computer.
2022 - D-Wave Quantum Inc. went public through a merger with DPCM Capital, Inc.
