Company Story
1894 - Fidelity D & D Bancorp, Inc. was founded as Fidelity Deposit and Discount Bank in Dunmore, Pennsylvania.
1902 - The bank was rechartered as a national bank and renamed Fidelity National Bank.
1920s - The bank survived the Great Depression without failing, unlike many other banks at the time.
1960s - Fidelity National Bank began to expand through acquisitions, merging with several local banks.
1980s - The bank changed its name to Fidelity Bank and began to focus on commercial lending.
1990s - Fidelity Bank acquired several banks in northeastern Pennsylvania, expanding its presence in the region.
2003 - Fidelity Bank merged with D & D Bancorp, Inc. to form Fidelity D & D Bancorp, Inc.
2010s - The company continued to expand through acquisitions, including the purchase of several branches from another bank.
