2008 - Oleg Shchegolev and Dmitry Melnikov founded Semrush in Russia as a SEO toolkit for digital marketers.
2010 - Semrush launched its first product, a keyword research tool.
2013 - Semrush expanded its product line to include competitor analysis and technical SEO audits.
2015 - Semrush opened its first international office in Boston, Massachusetts.
2017 - Semrush launched its content marketing platform, including a content analyzer and post tracker.
2018 - Semrush raised $40 million in funding from Greycroft and E.ventures.
