In addition, it engages in the development of new energies, including hydrogen and associated technologies, such as high-pressure storage in fuel tanks with carbon fiber reinforcement, fuel cells, and solutions for energy.Further, it manufactures hydrogen fuel tanks, fuel cell stacks, and integrated hydrogen systems; and manufactures electric batteries.In addition, it is involved in the development, assembly, and logistics of front-end modules, as well as offers other parts of the vehicles, such as cockpit and the center consoles.


The company was founded in 1946 and is headquartered in Levallois-Perret, France.Compagnie Plastic Omnium SE is a subsidiary of Burelle SA.
