1995 - Virgin Direct, the financial services arm of the Virgin Group, was launched.
1997 - Virgin Direct Personal Financial Services Limited was formed.
2000 - Virgin One Account, a revolutionary new current account, was launched.
2001 - Virgin Money Personal Financial Services Limited was formed.
2003 - Virgin Money acquired a 50% stake in the mortgage broker, Mortgage Force.
2004 - Virgin Money launched its first credit card.
2005 - Virgin Money acquired a 50% stake in the financial advisory business, Lighthouse Group.
2010 - Virgin Money acquired the remaining 50% stake in Mortgage Force.
2011 - Virgin Money acquired the remaining 50% stake in Lighthouse Group.
2012 - Virgin Money acquired the UK operations of the bank, Northern Rock.
2014 - Virgin Money floated on the London Stock Exchange.
2015 - Virgin Money acquired the remaining 35% stake in Virgin Money Life Insurance.
2018 - Virgin Money acquired the remaining 20% stake in Virgin Money Unit Trust Managers.
2020 - Virgin Money completed the rebranding of the Clydesdale Bank and Yorkshire Bank brands to Virgin Money UK PLC.
