1966 - Krung Thai Bank Public Company Limited was established on March 14, 1966, with an initial registered capital of 50 million baht.
1975 - The bank was listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) on May 22, 1975.
1989 - Krung Thai Bank introduced its first ATM service, marking a significant milestone in the development of electronic banking in Thailand.
1993 - The bank launched its first credit card, 'Krung Thai Card', which was the first credit card issued by a Thai bank.
1997 - Krung Thai Bank was granted a license to operate as a universal bank, allowing it to engage in a wider range of financial services.
2003 - The bank launched its internet banking service, 'KTB NetBank', which enabled customers to conduct banking transactions online.
2007 - Krung Thai Bank was awarded the 'Best Bank in Thailand' award by Euromoney magazine.
2011 - The bank launched its mobile banking service, 'KTB Mobile Banking', which allowed customers to conduct banking transactions on their mobile devices.
