1985 - Digi International Inc. was founded by Friedhelm Hillebrand and Nancy Feilen.
1986 - Digi released its first product, the DigiBoard, a high-speed asynchronous serial interface board.
1990 - Digi went public with an initial public offering (IPO).
1992 - Digi acquired the Rabbit Semiconductor microprocessor product line.
1996 - Digi released the Digi Connect, a family of serial-to-Ethernet connectivity products.
2001 - Digi acquired the assets of the former MaxStream, a provider of wireless communication products.
2007 - Digi released the Digi ConnectPort, a family of wireless routers and gateways.
2011 - Digi acquired the M2M (Machine-to-Machine) business of Motorola Solutions.
2012 - Digi released the Digi Transport, a family of wireless routers and gateways for transportation markets.
2015 - Digi acquired the SmartSense by Digi, a provider of cold chain and environmental monitoring solutions.
2019 - Digi released the Digi XBee, a family of cellular and Wi-Fi modules for IoT applications.
