Segment Performance

The company's aerospace segment saw double-digit sales growth in 2025, with high single-digit growth expected in 2026, despite capacity constraints. The refinish business is seeing "green shoots" with market share momentum, particularly in the US and Europe, and new digital tools are being well-received. Architectural EME, a business that has struggled to grow, is expected to see flat volume in 2026, but the company is taking actions to see margin expansion and cash generation expansion.

Guidance and Outlook

The company expects organic sales growth in the range of flat to positive low single-digit percentage in 2026, driven by aerospace, architectural coatings in Mexico, and about $100 million of share gains in the industrial coatings segment. They anticipate positive price for the company, with strength from performance and architectural coating segments, partially offset by modest contraction in the industrial coating segment. Earnings per share growth is expected to represent a mid-single-digit percentage increase, with growth in the second half of the year expected to be high single-digit percentage.

This technology is expected to drive productivity savings and is a differentiator for the company. The company has also invested $120 million in incremental CapEx for debottlenecking and announced a $380 million new facility. Operating leverage is impacted by refinish destocking, but they expect to see leverage from incremental volume growth, pricing, and cost actions.
