1990 - Perma-Fix Environmental Services, Inc. was founded by Dr. Louis F. Centanni.
1991 - The company began providing environmental services to the US Department of Energy.
1992 - Perma-Fix acquired its first hazardous waste treatment facility in Gainesville, Florida.
1993 - The company went public with an initial public offering (IPO).
1995 - Perma-Fix acquired the nuclear services division of Westinghouse Electric Corporation.
1997 - The company acquired the hazardous waste treatment facility in Richland, Washington.
2000 - Perma-Fix acquired the environmental services division of Bechtel Corporation.
2003 - The company acquired the nuclear services division of Washington Group International.
2007 - Perma-Fix acquired the environmental services division of Shaw Group Inc.
2011 - The company acquired the nuclear services division of EnergySolutions.
2015 - Perma-Fix acquired the environmental services division of CB&I.
2019 - The company acquired the nuclear services division of Holtec International.
