Company Story
1964 - Mineros S.A. was founded as a small mining company in Colombia.
1970 - The company started to explore and exploit coal deposits in the Boyacá department.
1980 - Mineros S.A. began to diversify its operations, entering the iron ore market.
1995 - The company expanded its operations to Venezuela, acquiring a stake in the Cerro Bolívar iron ore mine.
2003 - Mineros S.A. went public, listing its shares on the Colombian Stock Exchange.
2010 - The company acquired a majority stake in the Colombian gold mining company, Minerales del Sur.
2015 - Mineros S.A. expanded its operations to Brazil, acquiring a stake in the Brazilian iron ore producer, Ferroeste.
2018 - The company began to focus on sustainability, launching its first Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) report.
