Company Story
2001 - Pertra ASA was established as a subsidiary of Petroleum Geo-Services (PGS) to focus on exploration and production activities.
2005 - Pertra ASA acquired the Norwegian oil and gas company, Norsk Hydro's, oil and gas division.
2011 - Pertra ASA changed its name to Det norske oljeselskap ASA.
2016 - Det norske oljeselskap ASA merged with BP Norge AS to form Aker BP ASA.
2017 - Aker BP ASA listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
2018 - Aker BP ASA acquired the Norwegian oil and gas company, Lundin Petroleum's, Norwegian subsidiary.
2020 - Aker BP ASA acquired the Norwegian oil and gas company, Equinor's, 10% stake in the King Lear field.
