2001 - Jefferies & Company acquired Broadview International, a technology-focused investment bank.
2008 - The company acquired Farella Braun + Martel, a law firm specializing in financial services.
2013 - Jefferies & Company acquired the investment banking and equities businesses of Dahlman Rose & Company.
2018 - The company changed its name to Jefferies Financial Group Inc. and began trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the ticker symbol JEF.
2020 - Jefferies Financial Group Inc. acquired a majority stake in HomeFed Corporation, a real estate investment company.
