1853 - The bank began to issue banknotes
1861 - The bank's headquarters were moved to the Rue de la Corraterie in Geneva
1881 - The bank's capital was increased to 5 million Swiss francs
1914 - The bank's headquarters were moved to the Rue du Rhône in Geneva
1920 - The bank began to expand its branch network in the canton of Geneva
1966 - The bank's capital was increased to 100 million Swiss francs
1987 - The bank was listed on the Swiss Stock Exchange
1999 - The bank merged with Banque Félix Calonder & Cie
2004 - The bank acquired Banque Cantonale Vaudoise
2014 - The bank celebrated its 167th anniversary
