1575 - Lucas Bols was founded by Lucas Bols, a Dutchman, in Amsterdam.
1600s - The company started to export its liqueurs and genevers to other European countries.
1697 - Lucas Bols was granted a royal warrant by King William III of England.
1800s - The company expanded its exports to the Americas, Africa, and Asia.
1892 - Lucas Bols was officially registered as a limited company.
1920s - The company introduced its first Bols liqueur, Bols Cherry.
1940s - Lucas Bols survived World War II, despite the destruction of its Amsterdam distillery.
1950s - The company resumed its exports and expanded its product line.
1960s - Lucas Bols introduced its first vodka, Bols Vodka.
1980s - The company expanded its operations to the United States and Australia.
2006 - Lucas Bols was listed on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange.
2015 - The company acquired a majority stake in the Dutch spirits company, Bols Royal Distilleries.
