1814 - Banque Cantonale Vaudoise (BCV) was founded as a cantonal bank in Lausanne, Switzerland.
1840 - BCV began to issue banknotes, becoming one of the first banks in Switzerland to do so.
1862 - BCV opened its first branch in Vevey, marking the beginning of its expansion beyond Lausanne.
1913 - BCV established its first foreign branch in Paris, France.
1967 - BCV introduced its first electronic data processing system, modernizing its operations.
1987 - BCV acquired Banque de l'Industrie, expanding its presence in Western Switzerland.
1993 - BCV launched its first online banking platform, becoming a pioneer in digital banking.
2001 - BCV acquired Banque Edouard Constant, strengthening its position in Geneva.
2014 - BCV celebrated its 200th anniversary, marking two centuries of banking history in Switzerland.
